Associate Database Engineer

Job Overview

Associate Database Engineers are responsible to create the database objects: tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and indexes. They also debug the queries and optimize the slow-running queries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create tables and views
  • Create stored procedures and functions
  • Create indexes according to the queries
  • Debug the incorrect queries and fix them
  • Convert the queries to proper joins
  • Convert the queries to union and union all
  • Write dynamic queries
  • Analyze and Understand business requirements in detail
  • Work in Scrum/Kanban team environment to size and plan the requirements
  • Research on new technology and techniques for continuous improvement of the products

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related courses
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Database development experience
  • Knowledge of TSQL or PL/SQL or MySql
  • Experience of Database UIs like SSMS or Workbench or Oracle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Quick and self-learner
  • Critical thinking
