You will play a critical role across the entire lifecycle from defining <strong>functional tests and acceptance criteria<\/strong> during product design, to executing manual and automated tests on <strong>web and mobile applications<\/strong>. This role involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, business analysts, and DevOps to ensure a seamless, secure, and reliable product delivery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in <strong>product design discussions<\/strong> to define <strong>functional tests, acceptance criteria, and testability of requirements<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured <strong>test plans and test cases<\/strong> for manual and automated testing.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute <strong>automation scripts<\/strong> using <strong>Playwright (Web)<\/strong> and <strong>Appium (Mobile)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Perform <strong>functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing<\/strong> across microservices, APIs, and UI layers.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases in an Agile environment.<\/li>\n<li>Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug tracking tools.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct <strong>thorough regression testing<\/strong> when issues are resolved.<\/li>\n<li>Support and contribute to <strong>CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong> by integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Validate system <strong>performance and reliability under load<\/strong> in collaboration with DevOps.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously research new tools, frameworks, and practices for improving testing efficiency and effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate customer-reported issues and support root cause analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>3 years of hands-on experience<\/strong> in software QA and testing (manual and automation).<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in <strong>End-to-End (E2E) Testing<\/strong> with <strong>Playwright (Web automation)<\/strong> and <strong>Appium (Mobile automation)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in <strong>Java, JavaScript\/Typescript, SQL<\/strong> for automation and test scripting.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of the <strong>software testing life cycle (STLC)<\/strong>, QA methodologies, and Agile practices.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>bug tracking tools<\/strong>, <strong>CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong>, and automation frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of <strong>API testing tools<\/strong> (Postman, REST-assured, or similar).<\/li>\n<li>Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work independently when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to Have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exposure to <strong>security testing<\/strong>, <strong>vulnerability assessment<\/strong> and chaos testing (e.g., OWASP, penetration testing tools, chaos monkey).<\/li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>performance and load testing<\/strong> tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust).<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>compliance-driven QA practices<\/strong> in financial services, remittance, or payments domain.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of <strong>DevSecOps<\/strong>, CI\/CD automation for quality gates, and <strong>test observability<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>cloud platforms (AWS\/Azure)<\/strong> and containerized testing in <strong>Kubernetes\/Docker.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Overview We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our product development team, focused on building enterprise-grade solutions in the financial services and remittance domain.
